Job Summary: As a Talent Agent specializing in fashion, you will represent models, fashion influencers, and other fashion talent, helping them secure work in the industry. Your role involves scouting new talent, managing client relationships, and negotiating contracts. You will work closely with fashion designers, photographers, brands, and casting directors to ensure that your talent is matched with the best opportunities to enhance their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Scouting and Development:
- Identify and recruit new fashion talent, including models, stylists, photographers, and influencers.
- Conduct interviews and auditions to assess potential talent’s suitability for representation.
- Provide guidance and career development advice to talent, helping them build their portfolios and brand presence.
- Client Representation:
- Represent and promote talent to fashion designers, brands, photographers, casting directors, and other industry professionals.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of engagement for jobs, ensuring favorable conditions for your clients.
- Schedule and coordinate talent bookings, including fashion shows, photo shoots, campaigns, and public appearances.
- Industry Networking:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, including designers, casting directors, production companies, and advertising agencies.
- Stay updated on fashion industry trends, upcoming events, and potential job opportunities.
- Attend fashion shows, industry events, and networking functions to promote talent and expand the agency’s influence.
- Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts between talent and clients.
- Ensure compliance with legal and industry standards.
- Manage talent compensation, including invoicing clients and ensuring timely payments.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop marketing strategies to enhance the visibility of talent.
- Work with marketing teams to create promotional materials, including portfolios, reels, and social media content.
- Leverage social media platforms to promote talent and engage with the fashion community.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of talent bookings, contracts, and client communications.
- Prepare regular reports on talent performance, market trends, and financial results.
- Handle any issues or conflicts that arise between talent and clients.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in talent management, fashion, or a related industry.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the fashion industry and current trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with talent management software.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, dynamic, and creative environment.
- Requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends for events.
